Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County, Inc.
Jane serves as the Executive Director for the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County, Inc., a local organization that works to improve maternal and infant health within our community. Over the past 30 years, Jane has invested much of her professional time and energy working in the fields of maternal child health and substance abuse prevention including 22 years as a Medical Social Worker specializing in perinatal bereavement for both St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. Jane’s research and best practices have been published in a variety of national professional journals and medical textbooks. She currently serves as a member of the Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review Committee, the co-chair of the Child Abuse Death Review Team, a member of the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Committee and many other local and state committees/boards. Jane was also the past President of the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions from 2009-2010 and from 2017-2019.
