How You Can Help

There are many ways to help out the Florida Associations of Healthy Start Coalitions: Donate- If you would like to help, but do not have the time to volunteer, why not make a tax- free donation to the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions. Consider honoring a special someone in your life by making a donation in their name. All individual donations are used to purchase needed supplies for mother and babies in our community. Paul Russell Road, A101 Tallahassee, Florida 32301 Make a secure online contribution Give Us Ideas- Email any suggestions or ideas that might help us help pregnant moms and babies in Florida. Your suggestions could be what make the difference to someone else in your community. Become a Healthy Start Board Member- Are you a member of the community who feels that positive changes need to be made to help women and babies in your county? You could become a member of a Healthy Start Board. Just contact your counties Healthy Start Coalition and ask for information on becoming a General Board Member. Donate New or Used Items- You can help a new family in need and recycle at the same time. Coalitions distribute new and gently used mom and baby items to Healthy Start families. Consider having your company or organization sponsor a drive to collect these necessary items. See the list below for some ideas and then contact the FAHSC to find out how you can donate your items.
