BASINET, (Baby Abstracting System and Information NETwork), is a web-based project management system for FIMR (Fetal & Infant Mortality Review).  BASINET will improve your ability to evaluate the factors contributing to fetal and infant mortality, enhancing the efficiency of your project and the capacity to focus on interventions to make a difference. BASINET is accessed through your browser with 128 bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption eliminating the need for any software to be installed on individual computers.  BASINET is compatible with Firefox and Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater browsers.  BASINET servers are located in a secure data center and are fully HIPAA compliant.
